LAWRENCE, PA, U.S.A. (June 5, 2009) - Axcera, a leading manufacturer and integrator of best-of-breed technology for the television broadcast, mobile media and broadband wireless access industries, today announced that it will introduce its second-generation low power transmitter line at the BroadcastAsia trade show, June 16th through June 19th, at the Singapore Expo in Singapore.
The Innovator CX is a compact and economical low power product that can be configured as a television transmitter, regenerative translator or gap-filler, allowing it to meet most any low power requirements where space and cost are a consideration. This second generation design is available in a broad range of output power levels, now from a few watts up to as much as 3400W, depending upon configuration. The VHF version is also new for this year, providing all of the same advantages as its UHF counterpart. Both are compatible with most any international digital or analog television standard, including ATSC, DVB-T, DVB-H, DVB-SH, CMMB (STiMi), DAB, T-DMB, ISDB-T/Tb, MediaFLO™, NTSC, PAL and more.
The Innovator CX offers many of the same features found in higher power transmitters, such as digital linear and non-linear precorrection, a frequency agile exciter, broadband amplifiers and an available SNMP/Web browser interface. Designed for high availability, these advanced transmitters are very robust and offer features such as redundant (main/alternate) exciter/driver/control systems and parallel power supplies, power amplifiers and cooling. Cooling fans can be replaced from the front of the transmitter, simplifying maintenance.
Also featured at Axcera's BroadcastAsia stand, number 7G5-06, will be the company's state-of-the-art transmission solutions, including the 6X Series High Power Liquid Cooled Solid-State transmitter, Innovator HX High Power Air-Cooled Solid-State transmitter and Visionary Series High Power IOT transmitter, all of which are also available for most any current international digital and analog standards.
