AXCERA AND MODEO(r) TO SHOWCASE LIVE DVB-H MOBILE TV DEMONSTRATION AT NAB 2007
Axcera Demonstrates Modeo's Commercial Grade Beta Service in Las Vegas Convention Center Central Hall

APRIL 16, 2007, LAWRENCE, PA, U.S.A. - Axcera, a leading manufacturer and integrator of best-of-breed technology for the television broadcast, mobile media and broadband wireless access industries, today announced that it will work with Modeo(r) to broadcast a live, end-to-end mobile TV system at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) 2007 trade show and exhibition, from April 16th through April 19th at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Modeo is the mobile TV broadcast affiliate of Crown Castle International Corp. The DVB-H signal will be broadcast from the Axcera booth, number C2524, located in the Central Hall, using an Axcera base station with an Innovator LX solid-state low power Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) transmitter. Visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to enjoy Modeo's commercial grade live mobile video service on the Modeo Mobile TV Smartphone. The source content will emanate from Modeo's broadcast center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and will be delivered by satellite to the exhibit hall, demonstrating a complete, end-to-end mobile media system.

Axcera's popular Innovator LX is a compact, modular transmitter designed for high efficiency, redundancy and excellent modulation error ratio MER performance. It is available in DVB power levels ranging from 50 watts to 1850 watts average, and in single path and diversity configurations. This very popular digital transmitter is part of Axcera's full line of low and high power DVB-T and DVB-H transmitters, available in frequency bands from VHF to 2.7GHz.
