TELEVISION BROADCAST AND MOBILE TV TRANSMITTERS HIGHLIGHT AXCERA DISPLAY AT NAB 2007

APRIL 12, 2007, LAWRENCE, PA, U.S.A. - Axcera, a leading manufacturer and integrator of best-of-breed technology for the television broadcast, mobile media and broadband wireless access industries, today announced that it will display its full line of television transmitters and mobile media base station products in booth number C2524 at the National Association of Broadcasters trade show, April 16th through 19th, at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Furthering its leadership position in the mobile media industry, Axcera will conduct an operational mobile media demonstration in cooperation with Modeo. The DVB-H signal will be broadcast from the Axcera booth, number C2524, located in the LVCC Central Hall, using an Axcera base station with an Innovator LX solid-state low power Digital Video Broadcasting to Handheld (DVB-H) transmitter. Visitors to the booth will have the opportunity to sample the user experience by viewing live program content on the latest mobile handsets.

As the leader in distributed transmission (DTx) technology, Axcera will also display an operating DTx system that will demonstrate the single frequency network capability of this ATSC-standard technology. Axcera introduced the industry's first commercially available DTx transmitter products at NAB 2003, and has delivered multiple systems to customers who are building these efficient and effective single frequency networks.

Also on display will be Axcera's new Axciter(tm) second-generation, fully adaptive digital television exciter-modulator system. The Axciter offers features such as dual processors and a reliable Linux operating system, which handles the continuously adaptive linear and non-linear precorrection. The Axciter is available with any new Axcera ATSC transmitter, or as a retrofit package for existing transmitters from any manufacturer.

For low power broadcasting, Axcera will display analog, ATSC, DVB-T and DVB-H versions of its Innovator LX low power solid-state product line, as well as the introduction of three new models – the Innovator LX B-Line DVB-H transmitter, the economical and compact Innovator CX ATSC transmitter/translator, and the DR8A-R ATSC remodulator. Axcera's low power transmitters, translators and boosters offer a high level of features and are available in many configurations, including Dual-Use(tm) analog/digital operation.

High power broadcasters will be interested in Axcera's Innovator(r) HX High Power UHF and VHF Solid-State and Visionary(r) High Power IOT-based UHF transmitter lines which will also be on display. Along with these products, Axcera will also show its 5700 series MMDS/BRS/EBS digital video wireless cable and broadband wireless access transmitter system.
